Age 91, died peacefully at the Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge on Friday February 24, 2017. Shirley Warner nee Sheets of Cornwall. Beloved wife of 64 years to the late Stuart Warner (2010). Loving mother of Robert (Beverley), Beth (Don) Moxley, Ronald (Lise) and Barbara (Guy) Cuerrier. Cherished grandmother of Ted, Ginny (Adam Stern), Tobin Moxley (Nida Haider), Heather (Tony) Johnson, Adam (Sue), Peter Warner and Nathaniel Cuerrier. Sadly missed by her two great grandchildren Stuart and Thomas Johnson. Survived by her brother Bill (Vivian) Sheets, sister Lois (Earl) Markell and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents James and Orena (Hawn) (1927) Sheets and Emily (Young) (1991) Sheets and her sister Betty (late Ralph) Terriah. Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home MacDougall Chapel 14815 County Road 2 Ingleside on Friday from 10am until the time of service. (A SERVICE IN CELEBRATION OF SHIRLEY WARNER’S LIFE WILL BE HELD IN THE CHAPEL OF THE FUNERAL HOME ON FRIDAY MARCH 3, 2017 AT 11AM.). Reverend Ian Johnston officiating. Spring interment at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge, St. John’s Presbyterian Church, Cornwall Hospice or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
