Peacefully, at the Maxville Manor, with her family by her side on Sunday June 4, 2017 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon MacIntyre for 57 years. Loving mother of Ian and his wife Janet of Burlington and Cheryl Moran and her husband Ian of Finch. Cherished grandma of Chelsea Sanders (Michael), Andrew MacIntyre (Mattie), Jessica Blaney (Colin), Hiliary Moran and Stuart MacIntyre (Courtney). Loved GG to her “Little Men” Dylan, Ryan, Cody and Declan. Will be remembered by her sister in laws, brother in laws, nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Ernest and Harriet Naidow (nee Thompson) and sister of the late Gwendolyn Greenwood. Norma was a graduate of the Cornwall General Hospital, School of Nursing Class of 1950, long time member of St. Luke’s-Knox Presbyterian Church and a Life Member, Winchester Chapter #310 Order of Eastern Star. The family will receive friends at the Brownlee Funeral Home 18 Front Street, Finch on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Norma’s Life will be held at St. Luke’s-Knox Presbyterian Church, 28 Front Street, Finch on Tuesday June 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. The Reverend Bruce Kemp officiating. Interment, Finch Community Cemetery. In memory of Norma, donations to the Maxville Manor Foundation or St. Luke’s –Knox Presbyterian Church would be appreciated. There will be a Star Funeral Service Monday at 2 p.m. Special thanks to the staff at The Maxville Manor for their love and compassionate care of our mother.
