Peacefully on Monday November 6, 2017 age 73 years. Donald Hector Gillies of Finch. Beloved husband of the late Carol (Harper) Gillies. Loved father of Vickie Gillies (Garry) of Moose Creek and Dean Gillies of Finch. Sadly missed by his grandchild Jessica. Dear brother of Norma Wright of Brockville. Predeceased by his parents Hector and Jessie (MacLeod) Gillies. Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home 18 Front Street Finch on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. [A SERVICE IN CELEBRATION OF DONALD GILLIES' LIFE WILL BE HELD IN THE CHAPEL OF THE FUNERAL HOME ON WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 15, 2017 AT 11AM.]. Reverend Bruce Kemp officiating. Interment to follow at the Finch Community Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Maxville Manor Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
