STEWART, Maxie
At the Cornwall Community Hospital with his wife by his side on Tuesday January 16, 2018 age 86 years. Maxie Ralph Stewart of Lunenburg. Former farm helper, bulldozer operator, he worked at the fertilizer plant and was a union carpenter. Beloved husband of Aileen (Locey) Stewart. Cherished brother of Amy Fetzer of Florida, Evelyn McLaren of St. Catherines, Doreen Hellyer of Cornwall and Dean Stewart of Long Sault. Sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Predeceased by his parents Archie and Hazel (Rice) Stewart; five brothers Dwight, Ernest (Grace of Cornwall), Alfred, Glen, Gerald and one sister Shirley Stewart. Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home MacDougall Chapel 14815 County Road 2 Ingleside on Sunday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. [A SERVICE IN CELEBRATION OF MAXIE STEWART'S LIFE WILL BE HELD IN THE CHAPEL OF THE FUNERAL HOME ON MONDAY JANUARY 22, 2018 AT 11AM.]. Reverend Daniel Hayward officiating. Spring interment at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to St. Andrew's-St. Mark's United Church Long Sault would be appreciated by the family.
