Peacefully at the Chartwell Hartford Retirement Residence in Morrisburg on Sunday January 28, 2018 age 76 years. John Percy Fawcett formerly of Ingleside. Beloved husband of Shirley (Canough) Fawcett. Loved father of Lyle Fickes of Iroquois, Sonya Latour (Robert) of Ingleside and Scott Fickes (Joanne) of Delta. Dear brother of William Fawcett (Beatrice) of Brockville and Richard Fawcett (Lucienne) of Alexandria Dear father-in-law of Terri Hodgins of Kincardine. Sadly missed by 5 grandchildren Elisha, Jonathan (Jessie), Sasha (Ryan), Bobbi-Jo (Michael), Jodi-Rae (Rob); 3 great grandchildren Braeden, Michael, Luca and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Percy and Elizabeth (Thauvette) Fawcett and one sister Beverly Bertrand and one brother Ronald Fawcett. To honour Mr. Fawcett's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home MacDougall Chapel 14815 County Road 2 Ingleside on Monday from 12:30pm until 2pm. [A SERVICE IN CELEBRATION OF JOHN FAWCETT'S LIFE WILL BE HELD IN THE CHAPEL OF THE FUNERAL HOME ON MONDAY FEBRUARY 5, 2018 AT 2PM.]. Reverend Patrick Stephens officiating. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. We would like to express our appreciation to Dr. Elizabeth Rivington for the many years of wonderful care, you truly gave him confidence and compassion.
