Peacefully at Woodland Villa in Long Sault on Sunday March 4, 2018 age 101 years. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Alguire. Loved father of Donald Alguire (Diane) of Burnstown, Ronald Alguire (Brenda) of Lunenburg, Doreen Jackson (Vic) of Pembroke, Reg Alguire (Joyce) of Ingleside, Kendal Alguire (Brenda) of Lunenburg and Carol Alguire of Ottawa. Dear brother of Carrie Taggart of Ottawa. Sadly missed by 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Agnes (McColl) Alguire; 2 sisters Julia, Mildred and 5 brothers Denzel, Bruce, John, Elgin and Dougall. [A SERVICE IN CELEBRATION OF ROSS ALGUIRE'S LIFE WILL BE HELD IN ST. ANDREW'S-ST. MARK'S UNITED CHURCH LONG SAULT ON FRIDAY MARCH 9, 2018 AT 11AM.]. Reverend Daniel Hayward officiating.
