Peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Wednesday March 7, 2018 age 83 years. Sterling Willard Armstrong of Lunenburg. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Shaver. Loved father of Steven Armstrong (Janet) of Ingleside, Bev Britton of Washington, Brian Armstrong of Newington, Pat Rowley of Cornwall, Laura Lalonde (Harvey) of B.C. and Gord Shaver (Jane) of Lunenburg. Dear brother of Helen Belec of Montreal and Don Armstrong of Lindsay. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Tyler (Jenn), Jay (Stephanie), Andrew (Heather), Robyn, Tracey (Matt), Jason (Miranda), Ruby, David and his great grandchildren Matteo, Olivia, Sullivan, Thomas, Ben, Eleanor, Hannah and Ethan. Predeceased by his parents William and Florence (Moak) Armstrong; one brother Wayne one sister Marlene Beckstead and one great granddaughter Hallie Shaver. Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home MacDougall Chapel 14815 County Road 2 Ingleside on Wednesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
