Obituary for Allan Brownell

Allan Brownell
BROWNELL, Allan
May 26, 1961 - April 15, 2018
On Sunday, April 15th, a bright light ceased to shine, leaving the world a little poorer of it's loss. Allan was the youngest child of Boyd (1927 - 2007) and Aline (1925 - 2017) Brownell and loving brother to Annette (Andre) of Newington and Paul, of Clarington. He was proudly an uncle to Darlene (Andrew), Jamie (2008), Chris (Natalie) and Scott (Mandy) and great-uncle to Ella, Thomas, Sawyer and Wesley. He lived at home with his parents for 48 years, a few years with Community Living Glengarry, then the last 6 years with Annette and Andre on the farm where he was born. He fulfilled his dreams for growing up, a job, many friends, a busy social life and the love of a beautiful woman. His funeral and celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, April 28th at 11:00 am at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church in Finch, 56 Front Street. There will be no visitation prior to the funeral. A lunch will be served in the church hall immediately following the service. Everyone welcome. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Community Living Glengarry or St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
