Miller, Brian
After fighting like no other.
After battling like no other.
After giving cancer a run for its money.
After fighting till the end,
with Janice by his side for every second.
Brian Miller passed peacefully at Hospice Cornwall on Monday August 6, 2018. Brian's story started on September 30th, 1950, the eldest child of Bruce and Dorothy Miller, brother to Shannon (Ross) and Tammy (Gerry). Brian started farming after marrying his love, Janice (nee Conroy) on July 6, 1974. His life revolved around his beef farm and raising his family on the farm that he loved. Loving father of Melanie (Mark), Becky (Eric) and Matthew (Megan). Very proud and cherished Poppa to Hunter, Hayden, Hudzen, Sierra, Georgie and Quynn. Brian will always be remembered for his passion for farming and animals, sense of humour and his compassion for family and friends. Not only was Brian a farmer, but he worked at Domtar Fine Papers in Cornwall from until its closure. Since Brian loved to travel with his beloved wife and could not sit still very long, he went back to work as a truckdriver with Fortier Trucking until his retirement in 2016. Brian's family would like to thank Hospice Cornwall for their amazing care and devotion. To honour Brian's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home MacDougall Chapel on Thursday from 11am until 2pm. [A SERVICE IN CELEBRATION OF BRIAN'S LIFE WILL BE HELD IN THE CHAPEL OF THE FUNERAL HOME ON THURSDAY AUGUST 9, 2018 AT 2PM.]. Reverend Patrick Stephens celebrating.
