WILMSEN, Jacobus Johannes Matheus
On August 24 at home, peacefully in his sleep; age 92. Beloved husband of the late Martha VanDuynhoven. Predeceased by an infant son Hans-Peter. Loving and much loved father of Catharina. Best buddy to son-in-law Jon Blais. Dearest Opa to Jacob and Jenna. Jac will also be missed by Zoe, the dog. The eldest of 11 siblings, Jac was raised in Venray NL, and survived WW II after capture by the Nazi's. The end of the war had Jac in the NL military for some years before immigrating to Canada with Martha in 1953. Through a lifetime well-spent with hard work and sacrifice, his faith kept him comfortable in his final years. Special thanks to Dr. Garry Weinburg for his compassionate care.
