The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mark Fairthorne can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: My deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Mark. I had the pleasure of working directly beside and with Mark for many years. If you knew Mark you would know he always made time to chat and was as committed to his work as he was to his family. You will be missed but not forgotten.

Condolence: My deepest sympathy to Mark's family and close friends. I first met Mark on a Catholic retreat when we were only teenagers. At that time, he started to think about the priesthood as his vocation. He was a wonderful priest as well as a wonderful Social Worker, and mostly a wonderful human being. You have made it to heaven my friend. You will always be remembered.

Condolence: The world was a better place with Mark in it. And he will be greatly missed. I met Mark when I was 10 as the only boy in my family he took to me like a brother he was an inspiration to us all young and old. He saw things differently from the rest of us. I have so many good memories of times with him as I'm sure we all do. Now I hope and pray he's with all who went before him in God's good graces. Rest in peace Mark we love you so very much.
