He was Such a kind man with a warm soul and he took such pride in showing me the “ropes” of how North Stormont ran. After that encounter with Don, I immediately knew, I had made the right choice to relocate my family to Berwick. He was the perfect person to welcome a new family to the street. Don referred to me (and I think everyone else, lol) as “kid” every time I would see him, even for our daily visits at MacEwen’s, he definitely has a special place in my heart, and a smile on my face each time, I think of him.
