Condolence From: Rick and Eunice Prins
Condolence: Our condolences on the loss of Dorothy. My memories of her go back many years, but mostly involve food and hospitality, music or friendly greetings when we visited the church. She has been faithful in the small but has had a huge impact!

Condolence: "Mrs. Loewen, a dear mentor to me all my growing up years...She was the mom to my best friend Jane. This lady was a wonderful homemaker, wife and mother, entertaining friends in her home at least once per week, made fresh bread and baking for every meal, etc. She was what I wanted to be when I grew up. She had a large garden, made dill pickles and pickled beets, froze tons of corn, raised their own meat, sewed all her children's clothes She was wise, godly, and always serving others. I spent many, many wonderful and happy days and weekends in her home while growing up. It was only as a young adult, getting married and having my first child that I realized what an impact she had on my life. I wrote to her about 15 years ago and told her all that she meant to me and that she had impacted my life more than anyone I had known. She wrote back the sweetest letter to me, with tear stains on it, and was so grateful to hear from me. I have never met anyone like her before or since. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. A true Proverbs 31 woman! My sympathies to the whole family, especially Jane, my childhood friend. With love, Helen
