CHYMYCZ, Darlene
Darlene Bertha Chymycz (Waldroff) passed away on Tuesday January 1, 2019 at the Cornwall Community Hospital surrounded by her caring companion Claude and close friends. Darlene is predeceased by her husband and soul mate Gene Chymycz 2009, her parents Edson and Laura Waldroff (Hartle), siblings Edith, Kenneth, Ernie and Brian. Survived by her best friend, confident and partner Claude Brunet, sister Patricia Waldroff (Aaron), Nellie best friends of 47 years and the Van Dyk family. Darlene will be deeply missed by her chosen nephews Jason and Ryan Van Dyk, and cousins Richard and Gloria. She will be a great loss to her many friends and members of the Friendly Circle Seniors Club of which she was Vice President. In keeping with Darlene's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of Darlene's life will be held at Sunset Cove in Long Sault at a later date. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Hillcrest Cemetery or the Newington or Friendly Circle Seniors Club would be appreciated by the family.
