Condolence: Our condolences (from the Peter & Hélène Fee family) to you and Steve’s family, Erin, Erin, my wife, Hélène’s and my condolences go out to you & Steve’s family. You & I haven’t met but were about to as I was recently communicating with Steve about you guys coming to visit and stay with us for a few days at our new home in St. Catharines. I have also had my troubles what with suffering a massive ‘stroke’ in 2003. I fortunately survived and shortly afterward married my girlfriend who always stayed by my side while I and recovered from this medical nightmare called ‘stroke’. I was thrilled when, a few weeks ago, I reconnected with Steve through Facebook after not seeing him for a few years - it was 15 years since I had my ‘stroke’. Steve was a special buddy from the days we were members of the Ottawa Tennis and Lawn Bowling Club in Ottawa and we always had so much fun at the Club’s ‘Pub Nights’ with the Tennis gang. Particularly special was the time Steve was my partner and we won the OTLBC Intermediate ‘Men’s Doubles Tournament’. He knew so well how to curse at me and give heck whenever I made an unforced error or double-faulted as he won games with his awesome backhand and amazing overhead smash!
