PROVOST, William 'Ronald'

After a courageous Battle with cancer. Ron passed away peacefully at the Hakesbury General Hospital on Thursday October 3, 2019 at the age of 52 years, with his loving wife of 24 years (31 total) by his side. Ron leaves behind his wife Heather nee O'Grady and his three children Gregory William (age 23), Kaitlyn Elizabeth (age 18) and Zachary Ronald (age 16). He is also survived by his parents Violet and Francis 'Hank' Provost, brother Steven Provost and sister Angela (Vince) Berndt. Ron also leaves behind loving in-laws John and Kathy O'Grady, brother-in-law Shawn O'Grady and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Ron was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, son and friend to everyone he knew. He was loved and respected at his place of employment, Bank Street Toyota previously known as Mendes Motors Toyota, where he worked as a collision repair technician for over 32 years. Ron was also an avid angler and hunter and would grab any chance he could to take his two sons hunting or his whole family ice fishing or fishing from his boat. Ron also loved his country music, especially anything with a steel guitar. He said it was as close to heaven as he could get and could sit and listen to it for hours on end. Here's hoping you're enjoying the sweet sounds of heaven with a steel guitar by your side Ron. Ron's family would like to thank the loving staff at the Hawkesbury General Hospital for their compassion and the wonderful care they bestowed upon Ron during his final days. It was very much appreciated. To honor Ron's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home 18 Front Street Finch on Friday November 1, 2019 from 6pm until 9pm. [MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL WILL BE CELEBRATED IN ST.
