We are sad to announce that Margery Abrams died on November 24, 2019 in the arms of loved ones. She was born on a farm near Berwick, Ontario and always considered herself a country girl, though for a time she lived in both Cornwall and Ottawa. Her final resting place will be on a hillside near Avonmore next to her cherished son Byron McRae. She was also predeceased by her parents, Orville and Anna Nugent, her husband Vincent Abrams, and her brother Robert Nugent. She is survived by her beloved brother Garry Nugent and his wife, her best friend, Sharon. She was predeceased by her ex-husband, Bruce McRae with whom she had six children. She will be forever remembered by Elaine (Michael), Cathy, Garry (Marie) Leslie (Denise) and Mark (Lorie) and her 11 grandchildren: Jamie, Ally, Justin, Lisa, Abby, Byron, Ben, Broderick, Jesse, Jaydon and Maddison. She will be lovingly remembered by many others including Tim Hunt, stepchildren Valerie Bergeron (Brian), Holly Lauzon (Ron), Donna Beaudette and Gary Abrams, and her six step-grandchildren: Aaron, Mikaela, Sheri, Nathan, Leihra and Brett.
