So sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. I had the greatest respect for her. She was my teacher in Aultsville Public School. I think it was in grade 4. She was so patient and kind - a wonderful person. I visited her a few times at the store many years ago before we moved away. She was always so positive and uplifting. She will be missed.

Condolence: Shirley, or Mrs. Stewart to me, was one of the kindest and most caring people I have ever met. I so enjoyed visiting with her in her Ingleside Stewart Home Hardware store. She was also one of my favourite Anglican Sunday School teachers. Her friendly spirit and conversation always made the small town of Ingleside a wonderful place to be.
