Peacefully at St. Joseph's Continuing Care Centre on Wednesday February 12, 2020 age 85 years. Pearl Elizabeth (Montgomery) Jackson of Monkland. Beloved wife of the late Lynden Jackson. Loved mother of Deb Poapst (late Ron), Larry, Lynden (Kathryn), Kathy Blair and Thom all of Monkland. Cherished sister of Janice Johnston (Don), David McLeish and Richard McLeish all of Sault Ste. Marie. Sadly missed by 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Elmer and Violet (Renwick) Montgomery; 3 sons Denis (Lois of Maxville), William and Garry and by 2 brothers Oran and Donald (Pauline of Sault Ste. Marie). To honor Mrs. Jackson's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home 18 Front Street Finch on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. [A SERVICE IN CELEBRATION OF PEARL JACKSON'S LIFE WILL BE HELD IN ST. JAMES UNITED CHURCH AVONMORE ON WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 19, 2020 AT 11AM.]. Reverend Lois Gaudet officiating. Committal in the spring at Gravel Hill Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
