We saw this message too late for the visitation, but want to express our condolences on the loss of a wonderful, kind, gentle man who is missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May God be with you as you go through these days of the final goodbye in this life. God has promised a reunion one day soon of loved ones who have gone before us. I was saddened to read of your father's death.
I only had a few conversations with your father over the years, but it was very evident that he was fully engaged in life, especially the part about meeting the needs of others. I vividly recall him asking me what my favourite thing in life was. I don't recall what I said, but I thought it was a good question. Your dad said volunteering was his favourite thing. That said a lot about him.
I'm sure you have plenty of wonderful memories of him.
