To Mrs. Aitkens family. I was truly saddened to hear of her passing. Mrs. Aitken was my teacher at Newington Public School. My memories of her are very fond. She was truly inspirational, I only ever recall her being caring, kind and compassionate. I also recall being a lucky girl who was gifted a hamster from her and Carol. Rest in peace Mrs. Aitken.
