Condolence: I was just going through some old photos and came across one of Doug and I in Florida in 1988. He was such a genuine nice person to be around. I have fond memories of the summer he invited my family up to his home for water skiing and adventure. I am sorry I did not go through the photos sooner. I would have like to have ben able to reconnect with him. I am just glad I was able to find those photos he sent me all those years ago. God bless you Doug.

Condolence: I met Douglas three years ago when I moved in to the condo next to his in Ottawa. He was immediately a thoughtful neighbour who would check in and see how things were going. I would see and chat with him most weeks as we became friends as well as neighbours. My condolences to Douglas' family as we mourn the loss of a wonderful person.

Condolence: Doug was an acquainance of high regard and long standing. He was a perfect gentleman who always shared a good word and a kind thought. We were both solicitors from the early days of Ottawa U. Law. May Doug Rest in Peace.

Condolence: From the time he waterskied on the river until his final days spent sitting on his deck, Ault Island always meant a great deal to Douglas. His family cottage with its memories was a place to relax and escape the pressures of city life. Not only was Douglas a generous neighbour but a kind and convivial friend. He enjoyed celebrating the seasonal holidays (his cabbage salad was much-requested) and was proud of his Canada Day gatherings which attracted many friends and neighbours. We shall greatly miss his regular arrivals, when he changed into shorts and was ready to discuss the latest news with his benevolent view of the world. He became very much part of our lives and we shall miss him enormously.

Condolence: We would like to offer Mr. Cryderman's family and friends our sincere condolences. Mr. Cryderman was a special soul. You could always count on a very interesting conversation, he was so full of knowledge. I think we shared an admiration for Anderson Cooper and our conversations would always include him. May he rest in peace, heaven is gaining a very special man. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in these difficult times. We are better people because our paths crossed. Condolence: It was with great sadness to learn of his passing. He was always interested in political discussions and attended many events. Condolence: On behalf of the congregation of Holy Trinity Anglican in Riverside Heights, we extend our condolences on the death of Doug Cryderman. Doug attended services at Holy Trinity whenever he was at his Ault Island residence and we will miss him in our midst. May he rest in peace.

Condolence: With great sorrow, I will miss a truly great friend, buddy, companion, that I had known for over seventy (70) years. Rest in Peace Doug. I will miss our get-togethers, talking about the old days in our younger years.

Condolence: My mom now 93 years of age Jean McDonald was Douglas's first cousin. We will miss his visits. We were saddened to hear of his passing.
