ZERAN, Betty
Peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital McConnell Site on Friday March 18, 2022 age 94 years. Betty Zeran nee- McEwan of Long Sault. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Zeran. Loved mother of Beverley McCosham (Dan) of St. Andrews, Maureen Wedderburn (David) of Alberta, William Zeran (Rita) of Cobourg, Arthur Zeran (Linda) of British Columbia, Cheryl Cooper (Gary) of Lunenburg, Cindy Zeran (Paul) of Vancouver and Shawn Zeran of Lunenburg. Cherished sister of Maxine Rutley (late Clare) of Finch, Shirley Rombough (late Bill) of Cornwall and Darwin McEwan (Eileen) of Cornwall. Sadly missed by 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Roy and Laura (Moke) McEwan one brother Douglas McEwan and one sister Florence Merkley (Lee of Prescott). To honour Mrs. Zeran's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Betty Zeran's life will be held on Friday May 27, 2022 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Newington at 1pm followed by a reception at the South Stormont Community Hall in Long Sault.. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Janet MacDonell Pavillion 840 McConnell Avenue Cornwall, Ontario K6H 5S5 613-938-4240 would be appreciated by the family.
