It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Melvin Waldroff in his 94th year. Melvin was born and raised in Newington, Ontario and lived there until moving to the Riverdale Retirement Residence in Cornwall in 2012. He was the founder of M.J. Waldroff Limited, school buses and milk haulage. Beloved husband of Dorothy (Alguire) for almost 70 years. Loving father of Wayne (Lynda) of Milton and Kevin (Cindy) of Newington. Grandfather of Brianne (Jeff Dier) and Dylan (Brittany Gellately) and great grandfather to Blake and Jordan Dier. He also leaves sisters Dorothy Craig of Ottawa and Marjorie Quenneville of North Bay. Predeceased by his parents Willis and Nellie Waldroff and one sister Elizabeth Beaudette. Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home MacDougall Chapel 14815 County Road 2 Ingleside , on Friday March 31st from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of your choice.
