It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Blake A. Barry of Long Sault, Ontario. He died at home with his family on Wednesday May 24, 2017. He will be missed dearly by his wife, Marilyn Barry (Jarvis), his son Christopher Barry and his wife Jennifer and two granddaughters, Mia and Anastasia. He was predeceased by his parents, Archie and Inez (Styles) Barry and sister, Sharron Barry. Blake was a passionate and energetic man who cared deeply for others in his role as an educator and through his many volunteer activities. He played an important role in the development of the cooperative education program in Cornwall, Ontario and spent years volunteering for the Canadian Mental Health Association, the Seaway Valley Community Heath Care Centre, as well as for various fund raising activities for Cornwall Hospice. A private graveside service was held on Saturday, May 27, 2017. [ON SATURDAY, JUNE 3RD, 2017, A CELEBRATION OF LIFE MEMORIAL WILL BE HELD AT THE CHRIST CHURCH SEAWAY, 2 BETHUNE AVENUE, LONG SAULT FROM 11AM UNTIL 2PM.].
