Peacefully at his residence with his family by his side on Wednesday December 6, 2017 age 70 years. John Richard Wert of Newington. Beloved husband of Sandra (Cryderman) Wert. Loved father of Corey Wert (Catherine) of Ingleside, Cheryl Eby (Mike) of Lunenburg, Robert Donkers (Erin) of Kingston and Jennifer Leblanc (Sean) of Alberta. Cherished brother of Danny Wert (Sue) of Newington. Sadly missed by 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and by 1 niece and 1 nephew. Predeceased by his parents Sterling and Rita (Moss) Wert. To honour John's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Cancer Society or the Dundas County Hospice 4353 County Road 31, P.O. Box 278 Williamsburg, Ontario K0C 2H0 would be appreciated by the family.
