Peacefully at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital in Ottawa with his family by his side on Sunday May 13, 2012 age 80 years. Bert McKenzie Zeran of Finch. Beloved husband of Eleanor (Gallinger) Zeran. Loved father of Connie Prosser of Landsdowne, Gerry Zeran (Susan) of Long Sault, Carol Campbell (Eric) of Ottawa and Becky Zeran (Steven) of Whitby. Sadly missed by his 9 grandchildren Karen, Lindsey, Laura, Emily, Aurie, Jakob, Tony, Greg, Emma and his 2 great grandchildren Arden and Sam. Dear brother of Norma Forsyth (late Lyle) of Cornwall, Verla Gallinger (late John), Peter Zeran (Helen) all of Ingleside, Barbara Steer (Douglas) of Wenatchee, Washington, Joyce Shaver (Gary) of Sudbury and Sterling Zeran (Bonnie) of Peterborough. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Alberta (Otto) Zeran; two brothers James (June of Cornwall) and Doug (Betty of Long Sault). Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home 18 Front Street Finch on Wednesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
