Her Caring Heart

While I was growing up we had spent many of our family times at our Aunt Lilly's....She loved to laugh and give hugs.  She loved to serve and welcomed you in her home.  She cooked up great meals and desserts with loving hands.  She was a great support system for my mom during difficult times and I never felt like she was looking down on any of us but she sure let you know if you were "out of line" lol. she worked hard to keep fresh vegetables as part of her menu and canned oodles of stuff for the upcoming winters. I can remember her seamtress talents and had made many a beautiful outfit for our dolls... they were well dressed lol

Although she was bossy sometimes with my mom, being her big sister, it was always clear she loved my mom, Ruth, very much. I am grateful of the time we spent with her...she is in heaven and I am sure God will welcome her with the words, "well done, faithful and good servant!" She can now dance, run and jump with no pain or hindrances...love you Aunt Lilly!
