Peacefully on Friday December 27, 2019, age 89 years. Predeceased by his second wife, the late Maret (Klaassen Milnes). Survived by his first wife, Ellen (Bahlo). Loved father of Annette McRae (Terry) of Avonmore. Dear brother of Roger Johnson (Biz) of Vancouver and Helen (the late David) Banks of Scotland. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Robin (Renee), Patrick (Beverly), Kate and Jenna (Chelsea), and his great grandchildren Charlotte, Liam and Ethan. Also missed by his step-children Peter Milnes (Barbara), and Terry Milnes (Charles Low), his step-grandchildren Dara, Alex, Allison (Stuart), Timothy and great grandson William. Cherished uncle of several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Cyril and Dora (Sharp) Johnson. To honor Mr. Johnson's wishes, cremation has taken place. [A SERVICE IN CELEBRATION OF PETER JOHNSON'S LIFE WILL BE HELD AT ST. JAMES UNITED CHURCH IN AVONMORE ON SATURDAY JANUARY 25, 2020, AT 11 AM.]. Reverend Lois Gaudet officiating.
