The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Veronica MacDougall can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Veronica and I were close friends for 40 years. Yes, she was an angel for sure. She also had the reputation for being one of the best nurses in our area. She was a very special lady. I will miss her so much, as we all will. Our loss, Heaven's gain.
My sympathy to all the family.

Condolence: On behalf of the Barker family of Alexandria (the late Vince and Hazel) we want to extend our most heartfelt condolences to Veronica’s family. She was so compassionate and kind towards our parents and my late father in law Cameron when they were residents of the nursing home in Alexandria. She told my husband “I am in this world, but not of this world” and she surely lived it in her Catholic faith. May she rejoice in paradise with our Heavenly Father.
