Uncle Paul at the village

I remember taking Bella to the village when she was finally old enough to understand and appreciate it. We got to the cheese factory and walked in. Low and behold it was uncle Paul making the curds. He gave me, dan and Bella a little lesson in cheese making. Now, we love curds at my house and well cheese in general because were Dutch. No surprise there, however on this occasion we happened to be the only ones in the cheese factory with uncle Paul. He proceeded to load up a huge bag of curds, handed them to me then instructed me to hide them under my shirt and smuggle them out. I nearly busted a gut laughing so hard! But uncle Paul wanted to make sure we got some of his fresh curds. Boy were they good! Ill miss his sense of humour and our chats over a glass of whiskey. He was a cool uncle to have. Always caring and insightful and will be missed greatly. Till we meet again uncle Paul! Keep my drink cold and my curds squeaky! Love, Natalie xo
